Version 3.0 is a major update, which includes:

Changed the GUI of the program to streamline the program.

 What's new in Tweaking Toolbox 2.0

Version 2.0 is a major update, which includes:

Added "Security", "My Computer", "Explorer" and "IE Restrictions" tab.

Added the following items to the "Desktop" tab: Show Internet Explorer icon, Disable Taskbar menu, Show Windows version, Disable Tooltips, Disable right-click, Enable window animation, Smooth edges of screen fonts, Enable smooth scrolling, Show window contents while dragging, Show icons in all possible colours, Animate Windows, Menus and Lists, Use Transition effects for menus and Tooltips, Hide keyboard navigation until using Alt key.

On the "Desktop tab": Changed the ability to remove the shortcut arrow from shortcuts, with the ability to not only remove the icon, but also to assign a custom shortcut icon.

Added the following items to the "Start menu" tab: Lock Start menu, Clear Most Recently Used files lists (multiple items), Disable Recent Documents shortcuts, Expand (multiple items).

Restored the icons to the "Control Panel (more)" tab's display.

Removed the items listed between "<   >" from the "Add/Remove" tab.

Fixed display for "Product build number" under Windows Me on the "Information" tab.

Made the "IE and OE" tab compatible with Internet Explorer 6.

Made OE data files list window scroll (on "IE and OE" tab).

 What's new in Tweaking Toolbox 1.80

Version 1.80 is a minor update, which includes:

TTW can now be password protected, so that only authorised users can run the program.

"Information" tab: You can now change the Product ID & Product Key, to reflect the correct information, and have this recorder in the Windows registry.

*

"Desktop" tab: Added the ability to remove the prefix "Shortcut to" on new shortcuts.

*

"Desktop" tab: Added the ability to remove the Shortcut arrow from shortcuts.

*

"Start menu" tab: Added the ability to remove "Active Desktop" from the Settings menu.

*

"Start menu" tab: Added the ability to change to a "Cascading" start menu.

*

"Control Panel" tab: Added the ability to hide the "Hardware Profiles" tab from System Properties.

Renamed "Windows 98" tab to "Win98/Me" and made it Me compatible.
